About us

We currently operate primarily within the London Boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Haringey, Enfield and Southwark. The key personnel managing Marcus and Marcus have been involved within the field of learning disability and autism since 1996.

Our approach at Marcus and Marcus is to be person-centred; enabling the people we support to live an ordinary life, regardless of the complexity of the individual’s needs.

Approximately 90 per cent of the people we support have some form of Learning Disability often superimposed with an Autism Spectrum Condition.  We currently support around 112 service users.

We do not accept ‘emergency admissions’ we believe a large part of our success is rooted in building support packages based on planned, structured and individualised transitions.

In addition we adhere to a policy of not using agency staff as we believe that this is not compatible with the sensitive and specific needs of the majority of the people we support.

We aim to be an inclusive organisation where everyone is treated with respect and dignity, and where there is an equal opportunity for all. We respect and value the diversity of our staff and clients. This means that all our staff and clients should understand and respect that there is a diverse work force and client community and that everyone has the right to be treated with dignity, respect and equality. This includes the legal and ethical requirement for us to provide services and conditions of employment that are appropriate to the needs of a diverse society.
